트라이엄프 모터사이클을 선택해 주셔서 감사합니다. 트라이엄프 모터사이클은 검증된 엔지니어링 기술과 철저한 테스트 그리고 높은 신뢰성, 안전성, 성능이 집약된 제품입니다. 이 모든 것이 고객이 추구하는 완벽한 라이딩을 실현하기 위함입니다.
THINGS TO REMEMBER
모터사이클 핸드북에 있는 정기점검 지침에 따라 모터사이클을 정비함으로써, 보증 범위 내에서 최대한 서비스 조치를 받을 수 있습니다. 모터사이클 점검이나 수리 등 보증에 따른 작업이 실시되면 트라이엄프 공인 딜러에서 그에 따른 적절한 서비스 기록이 남겨지게 됩니다. 따라서 반드시 잊지 말고 모터사이클 서비스 핸드북을 지참하시기 바랍니다.
1992년 12월 1일 이후에 새롭게 등록된 모터사이클은 첫 등록일 또는 판매일(미등록인 경우)로부터 주행 거리에 상관없이 24개월 보증이 적용됩니다.
TRIUMPH MOTORCYCLES LIMITED는 보증 기간 동안 트라이엄프 모터사이클 제조 시 적용한 소재 및 제조 공정에서 발생하는 결함이 없음을 공지해 드립니다.
트라이엄프는 빼어난 외관과 탁월한 내구성을 갖춘 제품을 고객에게 제공하고자 신중하게 소재의 선택과 성형 그리고 도장 기술을 적용시키고 있습니다. 그러나 모터사이클은 거친 환경에서 사용되기도 합니다. 그런 경우에는 모터사이클을 꼼꼼하게 세차하고 건조해야 하며, 윤활제를 보충해서 변색을 방지해야 합니다. 특히 도금/비도금 금속 표면의 변색을 방지하도록 노력을 기울여주시기 바랍니다. 문의 사항이 있다면 트라이엄프 공인 딜러로 연락 주십시오. 모터사이클의 외관은 얼마나 잘 관리하느냐에 달려 있습니다.
General Warranty Terms
(not off-road)
1. Make sure that all your owner information is entered in the Triumph Motorcycle Service Handbook that is provided with the motorcycle.
2. Maintain maximum protection under warranty by making sure that your motorcycle is serviced in accordance with the recommendations of the scheduled maintenance chart in this Owner’s Handbook.
3. If you should sell your motorcycle, make sure this Owner's Handbook together with all other relevant documents are passed to the new owner. Please advise the new owner that they can notify Triumph of the change of ownership by contacting their local Triumph dealer.
4. All new Triumph motorcycles are covered by a comprehensive unlimited mileage warranty, commencing from the date of first registration or the date of sale if the motorcycle remains unregistered. Refer to your motorcycle warranty registration certificate for details of the warranty period.
5. Within the warranty period, TRIUMPH MOTORCYCLES LIMITED warrant the new Triumph motorcycle detailed in the Motorcycle Service Handbook to be free from any defect in materials used in the manufacture, and/or workmanship at the time of its manufacture.
6. Any part found to be defective during this period will be repaired or replaced at the discretion of TRIUMPH MOTORCYCLES LIMITED by an authorised Triumph dealer.
7. Any part replaced under the warranty will be covered for the remaining period of the warranty.
8. Any parts replaced under warranty must be returned to TRIUMPH MOTORCYCLES LIMITED by the dealer/ distributor and will become the property of Triumph Motorcycles Ltd.
9. Triumph may, at its discretion make any repairs or replacement of defective parts falling outside the warranty, but such work shall not be deemed to be any admission of liability.
10. Triumph will bear labour charges for work carried out under the warranty.
11. The warranty may be transferred to subsequent owners for the balance of the remaining warranty period
12. Conditions & Exclusions
a. The motorcycle must not have been used for competition, Misused[1], inadequately or incorrectly serviced or maintained.
[1]Misuse includes any use not in accordance with the recommendations made in the 'how to ride the motorcycle' section of the Owner’s Handbook and any use contrary to the warnings given in that same handbook. In addition, misuse will include, but not be limited to any use of the motorcycle which does not constitute normal use.
b. The motorcycle must have been serviced as detailed in the manufacturers service maintenance schedule, at the intervals specified in the Owner’s Handbook and the service log completed accordingly.
c. The motorcycle battery is warranted for 12 (twelve) months from the original date of purchase of the motorcycle. After this 12 (twelve) month period, the battery is excluded from the terms of this warranty. The battery supplied with the motorcycle must be provided with sufficient charge to replenish that lost by the operation of the starting mechanism and/or the use of electrical equipment whilst the engine is not running. Refer to the battery section of this handbook for details of required battery maintenance.
13. The warranty does not cover:
a. Defects caused by incorrect adjustment, repair or modification not authorized by TRIUMPH MOTORCYCLES LIMITED.
b. Defects caused by the use of parts and accessories not authorised by TRIUMPH MOTORCYCLES LIMITED.
c. The cost of removal and replacement of parts and accessories, unless supplied as original equipment, or recommended by TRIUMPH MOTORCYCLES LIMITED.
d. The cost of transportation of the motorcycle to or from the authorised Triumph dealer, or expenses incurred while the motorcycle is unable to be ridden due to warranty repairs.
e. Normal servicing and normal service items, such as spark plugs, oil and air filters are not covered by this warranty. Similarly, items which are expected to wear as part of their normal function such as tyres, bulbs, chains, brake pads and clutch plates are also excluded, unless there is a manufacturing defect.
f. Defects to the front fork oil seals as they are subject to wear and tear, including but not limited to damage caused by stone chips to the inner fork tubes.
g. Seats, luggage, paint, chrome, polished aluminium items, or trim deterioration or fading caused by normal wear and tear, exposure, or lack of correct maintenance.
h. Motorcycles used on a commercial basis.
i. Defects which have not been reported to an authorised dealer within ten days of discovery of the defect.
j. Motorcycles which have been inadequately lubricated, or for which the wrong fuel or lubricant has been used.
k. Damages due to water submersion and/or foreign material ingestion.
14. Should a warranty claim become necessary, Triumph Motorcycles and its authorised dealers shall not be liable for loss of use, inconvenience, lost time, commercial losses or other incidental or consequential damages.
15. This warranty shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, save that in the event of any material conflict or inconsistency between such application to this warranty of the laws of England and Wales and local statutory rights that would otherwise be applicable to Triumph customers (dealerships or consumers) purchasing Triumph products in another country, those local statutory rights shall take precedence.
The competent courts of England and Wales shall have primary authority to settle any questions, claims or disputes which may arise under or in connection with this warranty, save that to the extent that any such issue arising requires the consideration and interpretation of applicable local statutory rights applicable to a customer purchasing Triumph products in another country, the customer may seek to take proceedings in any competent court of that country.
16. Any statement, condition, representation, description, or warranty otherwise contained in any catalogue, advertisement or other publication shall not be construed as enlarging, varying or overriding anything contained herein.
17. Triumph Motorcycles reserve the right to make alterations or improvements without notification to any model or motorcycle without obligation to do so to motorcycles already sold.
18. This warranty does not affect your statutory rights.

모터사이클과 함께 제공되는 오너스 핸드북에 소유자 정보가 모두 기입되었는지 확인하세요.
1. 서비스 핸드북에 명시되었는 모터사이클 정비 권장 사항에 맞춰 모터사이클을 정비하고, 보증 기간 동안 최대한의 보증을 유지하십시오.
2. 모터사이클을 판매하게 될 경우, 핸드북과 기타 모든 관련 문서를 새 소유자에게 꼭 전달해 주십시오. 모터사이클 판매 시, 새 소유자에게 가까운 트라이엄프 딜러점에 연락하여 소유권 변경 사실을 알릴 수 있다고 안내해 주십시오.
3. 올 뉴 트라이엄프 TF-X 시리즈는 보증 등록일 또는 미등록 상태일 경우 판매일부터 1개월 무제한 마일리지 보증이 적용됩니다.
4. 올 뉴 트라이엄프 TF-E 시리즈는 최초 등록일 또는 미등록 상태일 경우 판매일부터 1개월 무제한 마일리지 보증이 적용됩니다.
5. 보증 기간 내에, 트라이엄프 모터사이클 리미티드는 오너 핸드북에 자세히 설명된 트라이엄프 모터사이클이 제조 시 사용된 재료 및/또는 제조 과정에서 결함이 없음을 보증합니다.
6. 보증 기간 내에 결함이 발견된 부품은 공인된 트라이엄프 딜러가 트라이엄프 모터사이클 리미티드의 재량에 따라 수리 또는 교체해 드립니다. 보증에 따라 교체된 모든 부품은 남은 보증 기간 동안 보증이 적용됩니다.
7. 보증 기간 동안 교체된 모든 부품은 딜러/디스트리뷰터에 의해 트라이엄프 모터사이클 리미티드에 반환되어야 하며, 트라이엄프 모터사이클 리미티드의 소유가 됩니다.
8. 트라이엄프는 재량에 따라 보증 범위를 벗어난 결함이 있는 부품을 수리하거나 교체할 수 있지만, 이러한 작업은 책임 인정으로 간주되지 않습니다. 트라이엄프 모터사이클은 보증에 따라 수행되는 작업에 대한 공임을 부담합니다.
9. 보증 기간이 남아 있는 경우 보증이 다음 소유자에게 양도될 수 있습니다.
10. 보증 조건 및 보증 제외 사항
a. 모터사이클은 용도에 맞지 않게 사용되지 않아야 하며[1], 부적절하게 정비되었거나 관리하지 않아야 합니다.
1모터사이클 오용에는 사용 설명서의 '모터사이클 타는 법' 섹션에 명시된 권장 사항에 따르지 않는 모든 사용과, 해당 설명서에 제시된 경고에 반하는 모든 사용이 포함됩니다. 또한, 오용에는 정상적인 사용에 해당하지 않는 오토바이의 모든 사용이 포함되며, 이에 한정되지 않습니다.
b. 모터사이클은 제조업체 서비스 유지보수 스케줄 및 소유자 핸드북에 명시된 간격으로 정비되었고, 이에 따라 작성된 서비스 일지에 따라 정비되어야 합니다.
11. 보증은 다음 사항을 포함하지 않습니다 :
a. 모터사이클의 잘 못된 조정 또는 공인된 트라이엄프 딜러가 아닌 비승인 업페에서 수리를 진행한 경우 보증 적용을 받을 수 없습니다.
b. 트라이엄프 모터사이클 리미티드에서 승인하지 않은 부품 및 액세서리 사용으로 인해 발생한 결함.
c. 트라이엄프 모터사이클 리미티드에서 권장하거나 정품 액세서리로 제공하지 않은 부품 및 액세서리의 제거 및 교체 비용.
d. 모터사이클을 공인 트라이엄프 딜러까지 운반하는 데 드는 비용이나, 보증 수리로 인해 모터사이클을 운행할 수 없는 동안 발생하는 비용.
e. 점화 플러그, 오일, 공기 필터 등 일반 서비스 품목과 일반 서비스는 보증에 해당되지 않습니다. 또한, 타이어, 전구, 체인, 브레이크 패드, 피스톤/피스톤 링, 변속 기어 및 클러치 플레이트와 같이 정상적인 기능의 일부로 마모될 것으로 예상되는 품목도 제조상의 결함이 없는 한 보증에서 제외됩니다.
f. 앞 포크 오일 실에는 마모가 발생할 수 있으며, 여기에는 내포크 튜브에 돌멩이 등이 튕겨서 발생한 손상도 포함되지만 이에 한정되지 않습니다.
g. 정상적인 마모, 노출 또는 관리 부족으로 인한 시트, 러기지, 페인트, 크롬, 광택 처리된 알루미늄 제품의 마모 또는 열화 현상을 포함합니다.
h. 상업적으로 사용되는 모터사이클.
i. 결함을 발견한 후 10일 이내에 공식 딜러에 보고되지 않은 결함.
j. 윤활이 충분치 않거나 잘못된 연료 또는 윤활유를 사용한 오토바이.
k. 물에 잠기거나 이물질이 유입되어 발생한 손상.
12. 보증 청구가 필요한 경우, 트라이엄프 모터사이클과 공식 딜러는 차량 수리기간 중 차량 사용이 불가하며, 상업적 손실 또는 기타 우발적 또는 결과적 손해에 대해 책임을 지지 않습니다.
13. 이 보증은 잉글랜드 및 웨일즈 법률에 따라 적용됩니다. 하지만, 잉글랜드 및 웨일즈 법률이 적용되지 않는 국가에서 트라이엄프 제품을 구매하는 트라이엄프 고객(딜러 또는 소비자)에게 적용될 수 있는 지역 법적 권리 사이에서 중대한 충돌이나 불일치가 발생할 경우 해당 지역 법적 권리가 우선시됩니다.
잉글랜드와 웨일스의 관할 법원은 이 보증에 따라 이와 관련하여 발생할 수 있는 모든 질문, 청구 또는 분쟁을 해결할 수 있는 주요 권한을 갖습니다. 다만, 이러한 문제가 발생할 경우 다른 국가에서 트라이엄프 제품을 구매하는 고객에게 적용되는 해당 지역 법적 권리에 대한 고려와 해석이 필요하므로 고객은 해당 국가의 관할 법원에서 소송을 제기할 수 있습니다.
14. 카탈로그, 광고 또는 기타 출판물에 포함되지 않은 진술, 조건, 표현, 설명 또는 보증은 본 문서에 포함된 내용을 확대, 변경 또는 우선하는 것으로 해석되어서는 안 됩니다.
15. 트라이엄프 모터사이클은 이미 판매된 모터사이클에 대해 의무 및 사전 통지 없이 모터사이클에 대한 변경이나 개선을 할 권리가 있습니다.
16. 본 보증은 귀하의 법적 권리에 영향을 미치지 않습니다.
