Triumph Factory Racing
FIM MX2 World Championship
Heading into the third season of competition, Triumph Factory Racing has established themselves as formidable contenders in the ultra-competitive FIM MX2 Motocross World Championship. In 2024 the team launched with racers Mikkel Haarup and Camden McLellan, with Haarup scoring a podium on the team’s historic first outing with the completely new TF 250-X, and McLellan following this up with a podium later in the season. Last season, with Haarup aging out of MX2, McLellan was joined by Guillem Farres, and the duo clinching Triumph’s first moto victories in the series, which was a highlight for the squad, along with a number of podium finishes.
For 2026 McLellan and Farres are looking to go one step further and will be searching for a first Grand Prix victory for Triumph, while aiming to battle for the championship title in only the British manufacturer’s third year of competition, and third year in the off-road segment.
The FIM MX2 Motocross World Championship will take place over 20 rounds in 2026 beginning in early March in Argentina. With numerous races throughout Europe, as well as events in South Africa – a new venue for this year – Australia, Turkey, China and beyond, the variation in tracks, dirt and climate makes the series a real test for teams, athletes and their motocross machines with some of the world’s best talent competing for the title. The end of the season brings the fan-favourite Motocross of Nations, which this year takes place in Ernee, France, with riders from all over the world competing in the ‘Olympics of Motocross’ for their country.
Triumph Factory Racing Team
The Triumph Factory Racing team will race in the FIM MX2 Motocross World Championship for a third season in 2026, following its successful debut campaign in 2024, and second season in 2025. In just their first outing, the team took a spectacular podium finish in Argentina with Mikkel Haarup, and this was followed up with a second trip to the rostrum just two rounds later with Camden McLellan – cementing Triumph and the team’s status as serious competitors amongst the world’s best. The riders ultimately finished the season in fifth and ninth overall, with regular top three and top five moto finishes.
